Hotel Holiday Inn Express by Swornim Hotel Ltd.

The proposed project involves the installation of a 60 kWp grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Hotel Holiday Inn Express by Swornim Hotel Ltd. , Naxal, Nepal, utilizing approximately 4000 square feet of rooftop area to generate clean and sustainable energy. The system is expected to produce around 88,351 kWh annually, significantly reducing the hotel’s dependence on grid electricity and lowering operational energy costs over time. The installation will incorporate high-efficiency 615 Wp monocrystalline modules (JA Solar – JAM66D45 615/LB) with an efficiency of 22.8%, ensuring optimal energy generation even within limited space, along with a reliable Huawei SUN2000-50K-MC0 inverter for efficient DC to AC power conversion and system monitoring. The solar modules come with a 12-year product warranty and 30-year linear power output warranty, while the inverter is backed by a 5-year warranty, ensuring long-term performance and reliability. This project not only offers substantial financial savings over a 10-year period but also contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing carbon emissions and promoting the adoption of renewable energy in Nepal’s hospitality sector.
